Hi, I am using Mod R34.
I was wondering if it is possible to use a personal picture with this mod.
I have used several themes and every time I hover my mouse over the top right I don't get the box to display the picture like the official version does.

you can edit the theme.ini in order to show and change a personal pic.
First of all you should read the tutorial on PTC http://ptc.kain-planet.de/tutorials.php
Next - a way to display a personal pic, edit the theme.ini with notepad or similar:
[CustomImages] 0=IMG_PP [IMG_PP] Height=50 Width=48 Left=349 Top=8 Path=IconTheme\personal_picture.ico OnClick= PathToApp={Theme}\IconThemeIf there is already a custom image in your theme, your image number should be adjusted.
After editing your theme.ini put a jpeg or bmp or ico into the IconTheme folder of your theme or create the folder next to your theme.ini. I use a personal_picture.ico -> for pics with different names adjust the path to it.
After all that fuzzing around restart your menu and there should be your personal pic -btw it is displayed best when it is of 48x50p, but you can use bigger pics, too.
Clicking on the pic will open the IconTheme folder to change the selection...
If you don´t want any action on clicking delete the PathToApp line or change it to your needs...
If you´re not successful, come back..
And be careful ! R34 is not supported officially. Do a backup of your Menu folder before any editing of the theme.ini

Followed your instructions and edited the theme.ini but cannot get picture to show.
I,ll just have to do without and wait for the release of the new official menu with the new changes. Basically all I wanted was the option to rename the apps that's why I am using R34 Mod.

where´s the problem. Did the menu start after editing ? Where did you put your personal picture? The folder path should be like that
E:\PortableApps\PortableAppsMenuMod\Data\Theme\YourTheme´s name\IconTheme\
Use IconFx or another programm to produce an icon of your personal picture
or use a small jpeg -
post the custom images part of your theme.ini here and we´ll see

Iv'e sorted it,the jpeg I was using wasn't showing so I downloaded a plugin for photoshop to change it to .ico. I just copied and pasted your text for the .ini and everything is ok now.The personal picture is now showing.

Which will come first though Christmas or the official release,it seems to be taking forever.
