Skype portable

Your suggestion works fine but with one glitch. When I am done with skype 3.8.x.x I hit the close button a window appears (minimized in the tray) saying close skype, I am not able to maximise it, hitting the normal close key fails and it hangs. Any suggestions?

Works Fine

The quote signs in the supplied instructions will probably confuse half of the punters out there. The BAT string is --> Skype.exe /datapath:data /removable

It works fine with Skype 4, and instructions can also found on the www.portablefreeware.com site. TIP: Convert the BAT to an EXE with one of the various conversion utilities and let the PortableApps menu find it and display it along with all of your other PortableApps.

With a USB headset/mike you have a great portable Sype setup. I use it frequently.

Regards,

Kim

This actually works great.

This actually works great. I've created a luancher. After doing a registry shot, not a single thing was left. Not that if you give it a full path, it will redirect it there.

Too many bridges you can burn
Too many tables you can't turn
Don't wanna live my life in the real world
