I've tried adding TweakUI to my PortableApps menu without any success. Can someone share with me the secret to getting the app to show up in the PortableApps menu? Right now I have TweakUI.exe in a directory in the PortableApps directory like all my other apps but for some reason, it will not show up even when I refresh the list. Any help is welcome. Thanks.
Sorry to ask an obvious question but just to get it out of the way, It is the EXE you've got in the folder right? Not a ZIP?

Be sure that your directory tree resembles this or you may run into issues launching the app. ( there may be other files/folders within the TweakUI directory but be sure that the .exe is at this level)
-PortableApps
------- +Documents
------- -PortableApps
-------------- -TweakUI
------------------- TweakUI.exe
Also as horusofoz mentioned be sure that you have unzipped the files properly .
Cheers
Just to clarify, the official menu will automatically list .EXE files in folders in the PortableApps folder. While an app may have several .EXE files, you'll notice the official ones from PortableApps.com only have the launcher in the app's root folder; the rest are in the App folder. I know it's confusing but between my explanation and the diagram above you should get it sorted. Assuming TweakUI runs portably, that is.
According to portablefreeware.com it does run portable and is stealth. However with that site I was told on these forums from a very reliable source that some of there stealth ratings are inaccurate. However i can confirm it does work portably.
unfortunately I'm pretty sure this is closed source so will not be able to include base app in distribution but can make a launcher

this is just one exe, you get it from MS directly, free.
Just make subfolder under PortableApps, call it for example TWEAKUI and place the tweakui.exe into it. Finish. It will show in the Menu then and can be run from there so. Doing it for long time so, no problem with it.
There is no portable and non poratble version of it, it is configuring this and that only by changing settings in registry which could also be done manually.
