Fix install directory

when starting the portableapplication_installer.exe
at least the directory executed from should be inserted

currently: "\portableapp"

my suggestion being: "drive:\currentdir\portableapp"

changing to ".\portableapp" doesnt work (but it detects drive empty space?!?!)

so one has to click on the browse button or put a drive letter

Decided Against

We decided against this to avoid most users installing it to an incorrect location. Most users download it to the local PC, desktop in XP and under and Downloads folder in Vista and up, and then install it to their portable device. So, less experienced users would wind up installing it to the wrong place.

The solution is to ensure you have your portable device inserted and are using the expected path... namely X:\PortableApps. As long as you are, the PortableApps.com Installers will automatically detect your existing install and the path will come up as X:\PortableApps\AppNamePortable no matter where you run the installer from. Doesn't get much easier than that.

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!

What about having a place to "store" PA installers

that would be nice, does one think?
