I know it is worthless to make any modifications to the website layout, as the Operating System and the Web Browser are in a Beta state, but I just wanted to show how the website looks like under Windows 7/Internet Explorer 8 Beta.
Windows 7 & Internet Explorer 8 Beta
Windows 7 & Internet Explorer 8 Beta (Compatibility View)
I'm aware, but I don't really care as it won't be out for quite some time. And a huge chunk of the net doesn't work right in IE8 without turning compatibility mode on. I don't want to put any extra work into supporting the annoying mess that is IE than I have to so I'll wait until it's actually released. No one should be using it as their main browser anyway, so it's pretty moot at this point.

That's not what you said with the JPEG hack
BTW, That reminds me, how did you fix that thing anyway? The same thing happens on my site with the Alina theme (And a bunch of others).
(off topic)quick note, that node is leet!
(on topic) I wonder if that happens with the IE8 beta on XP/Vista?
But there’s no sense crying over every mistake,
You just keep on trying till you run out of cake.
Yes, it does...
I got it for XP just to see how lame it was.
If it happens in XP and Win7 then it must happen in Vista too.
firefox on windows 7, im on it right now and it looks fine.

That is not the issue.
The issue is that if IE8 is released definitively and users get updated, it might happen that new users may visit the site and have problems viewing it. While IE8 is still on beta it is safe not to fix, but when it gets out of beta it is better we do something about it, understood now why it is a problem and why it is stupid to say "Use Firefox" in this case? Because the problem is not related to a personal taste, got it?
Blue is everything.
i also forgot to mention that i have no problem with the site, or any drupal site for that matter, with IE8 beta on windows 7.
and in either case, until IE8 is finalized it is still best to use firefox if you wish for the best browsing experience since IE8 is still glitchy and may not be fixed at all.

best to use Fx anytime

Are they recreating their own web standards? That's brutal.
Any changes in the current version? My IE8 on XP now displays it nicely after the recent theme hacking I was doing. I can't check on IE8 in Windows 7 at the moment (my virtual machine of it died).

It seems to be OK on IE8 + Vista.
