ITT I suggest Celtx

Please create a portable version of the free open source (CC-GNU GPL) Celtx program www.celtx.com which is actually based on Firefox 3 and is a great tool for creative writers and people in the media profession (screenwriters, preproduction staff etc., movie making) and has been included in the curriculum of many international universities. It was also used for making many popular blockbuster movies (refer to Wikipedia for detaills). Celtx v2 released on 25 Feb 09. Cuttently there are no other FLOSS alternative but only the commercial solutions that are inferior to this IMO.

Available for Win/Mac (Linux coming soon, older builds are available which are industry-ready).

Here it is!

Sorry for the bumping there.

Maybe I was not clear enough, see I know about the current status of this app. it is an open source app and its license allows for PAF type modification. But there simply was no official portable version available for the stable build. Hence I requested here with the hope that someone will be able to do it as I myself do not have that capability.

However, now there is a PAF compatible non-official build available on another site. So my requirement has been fulfilled. I am posting this comment because if someone else comes here looking for the same thing in future, they will get it here by searching.

Thanks and bye. Best of luck to all of you in this great project.

I was just referring to a post that Ryan McCue made back a while ago. I'd make a comment on that post to see if he's still doing it in the PortableApps.com Format, if not maybe someone else can take it over.
