I tested it with Firefox and

I tested it with Firefox and NSIS and neither would load when I switched computers. The shortcuts.xml file still contained the old paths.

Confirmed

It looks like it somehow got left out of the launcher. It's in the todo list for Notepad++ and will be portablized in the next release. I updated this thread's topic to allow for better tracking.

Thanks for catching and reporting it.

Fixed in 5.3

I've added portablization of the shortcuts file to Notepad++ Portable 5.3.

It looks like another change killed portablization of many settings, I'll do a revision tomorrow.

Fixed in 5.3.1

This is now properly fixed in 5.3.1. 5.3 had the code in it to fix it but introduced a new bug that caused most settings not to be portablized.
