Pidgin: Crashes EVERY single time!

After getting spammed with 200 messages, about 20 of them become independent windows that are not in the same group. Basically, they don't even show up in the task bar. So i have to manually click YES, YES, YES, 20-30 times. After I do that, it simply crashes with an error at 0x00000010 or something like that. This happens and repeats EVERY single time.

Refer to the image... Sorry I am not getting the memory violation crash anymore, don't know why. When I get it, i'll post it in a new thread or something.

P.S. Miranda sucks after using it a while. It's nice and all, but it's a bit confusing and seems to lack something...

Reset

I think the best thing to do would be to reset Pidgin and let it reload your MSN stuff. MSN has been having issues lately like this. You can manually delete your MSN buddies within blixt.xml in your Data directory of PidginPortable. There's a section called <account proto='prpl-msn' name='email@example' mode='5'> in there. If you remove it it should reset your buddy list. You may also want to delete and recreate the MSN account. Be SURE to make a backup copy of your Data directory before doing this.

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!

Yeah

It should reload it from MSN and be in sync instead of its current state where it isn't. May help if you log into MSN with the Live client and be sure all messages are cleared first, too.
