Just have a quick question. like to use a few portable apps on a partitioned hdd, so when i want to do a fresh install i can leave the portable apps and not have to install them every time.
Well i've just done a fresh install. But when i ran firefox portable all the extensions, cookies and my bookmarks were gone.
And i was just wondering if there's a folder i need to be adding them to so they'll stick, and if i decide to put firefox onto a usb to use on a different PC, those bookmarks and settings will be saved.
Apologies if this has been asked before, i done a quick search, but there were a lot of irrelevant matches thrown up.
I'd expect a fresh install to be clean and empty.
Maybe I'm misunderstanding what you are doing?

I think he means a fresh install of Windows.
You got FirefoxPortable from this site?
You use FirefoxPortable.exe to launch it? Not Firefox.exe?
