Portable user configuration settings

Hi, I would like to know if there is any portable app with wich I can carry with me my settings.
For example,
If I wanna use MS word in another computer,Could I use my shortcuts created in another computer.
Another thing that bothers me is the bookmarks tab, if I use firefox portable it runs slowler than the one installed on the pc, so how can I put my bookmarks in the one installed on the pc.
Thanks for your help and sorry for my English (not native). If this topic has been already discussed on the forum please let me know where, I couldnt find it.

The problem with this

is that for many of these settings you are talking about, they are the opposite of portable.
MS word shortcuts are stored in the Normal.dot file in the logged in profile of the user on the computer, so even if you were to carry a copy of Normal.dot on your drive, it would be inefficient to switch to it, and you run the risk of messing up the MS Word install on the host.
For the Firefox bookmarks, I'm not sure, but I suspect it is the same thing.

That's why I prefer OpenOffice Portable - because it remembers my settings.
If Firefox is slow, take a search in these posts, and Google it. There are a lot of strategies to speed it up.

Also, you may consider either
1. creating an HTML file with all your links (bookmarks) - that can be carried on your drive and run from any browser
2. setting up a home page on Facebook, Google, etc, and put them up there (iGoogle has a bookmarks gadget)

Export bookmarks

You can use Firefox to "export" the bookmarks (use Organize Bookmarks, Import and Backup, Export to HTML) and it makes a nice HTML document you can take anywhere.
