First of all a link would be

First of all a link would be nice, without a link people will ignore you.
2nd off, search the forums for the .exe to .paf.exe question, i know it's been asked many times before

and 3rd search the forums for Frets on Fire, you might like it.

Lead, Follow, or get out of the way.

Not open source

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guitar_Pro

It's not open source so they can't redistribute it here.

And it's not a guitar game, it's a tablature/MIDI app (just learned that from wiki).

(Fun fact: Frets on Fire can be played with a Guitar Hero USB guitar. Not sure about wireless or Rock Band hardware, but the Guitar Hero 3 X-Plorer specifically works as a generic gamepad in Windows XP and works just as you'd expect in FoF.)

Yes there is. Search Microsoft's site for a Wireless USB Dongle or some sort.

TUX Guitar

Tux guitar is open source & natively portable but not in PAF format & not recognised by this site at this point in time. However it does open guitar pro 5 files. Have a look for yourself http://www.tuxguitar.com.ar/ If you like it, then you should make a request to have it made portable at this site.
