Those red ones are sweet
Too many lonely hearts in the real world
Too many bridges you can burn
Too many tables you can't turn
Don't wanna live my life in the real world
I want the smallest red one for a system tray icon for the menu on my external hard drive. And I'd keep the default one for my USB drive, to tell them apart. Is that possible, or are these just for display in the My Computer folder?
In my opinion system tray icons have to be clear and flat like the original one.
I made the two HDD icons for using as links on your desktop or bar, they aren't optimized for small res, just resized.
Life is crunchy, anywhere
Unlike a lot of 3D icons, this one actually doesn't look too bad in 16x16. I think that's because it's at such a shallow angle, though... and the angle is all wrong for a full-size 3D icon. If you look at Vista's icons, the perspective is totally different. This would look terrible as a drive icon for that reason--it'd stick out like a sore thumb in My Computer.
