i'm asking for the game LastChaos - it is a free game,
but there is not a portable edition..
is anybody able to do it portable?
i would do it myself, but i suspect my programming knowledge
is too limited..

I just saw the game and WOW!!! I want it portable...
But the request should be a launcher, because the game is not open source (AFAIK)
If a packet hits a pocket on a socket on a port,

Last Chaos is a rmorpg or whatever you call it (I call it "online role game"...
), it is freeware closed source, that's why I request a launcher only...
Please note that there is a different install file for each language, so I think the launcher should be tested with more than one language...

This looks very good. Enough so that I am now interested in it. Can you please confirm if it is truly free or is it one of those free games where you have to exchange real cash for money in the game to get anywhere?

You can purchase some things with real cash, but 1. trust me, it is unnecesary... 2. at least in the Spanish version, players sale those stuff in the game's market for "gold coins" (the money yo obtain when killings mobs and finishing quests)... so you can live with that...

After two months playing I can say that the game apparently saves settings online, apparently the computer don't store anything... I'm going to try to just copy the game folder into a USB drive to see what happens, then I'll test for registry entries, and if everything is ok, then I think I can make a very basic launcher by myself based in the mIRC launcher...

I still don't know about registry entries, but I copied the entire LastChaos folder into my USB drive and it works!!!
I'll check the rest and report ASAP...
