DropBox

Has anyone researched the viability of DropBox (http://getdropbox.com) as a portable app?

I'm pretty sure this software

I'm pretty sure this software require the use of a filesystem driver, which cannot be done without either admin rights or without leaving any trace.

Another example of a similar situation where it cannot be properly done is TrueCrypt.

Sorry for the bump....

but LifeHacker has posted a portable version of the Dropbox program. (If anyone's interested.) Here: http://lifehacker.com/5181049/dropboxportable-syncs-files-to-your-thumb-...

IDK about the specs or if any thing is left behind, but it does integrate into the PAP menu, if your not worried about anything left behind on your home system.

I see two problems

1- It is not OSI compliant, which mean a PortableApps version cannot currently be hosted on SourceForge.
2- It requires .NET Framework 3.5, which could possibly not be present on all workstations, and might couldn't be installed if you don't have any administrator rights on the system (ie: corporate PC)
