Whenever I use ctrl-c to copy a url or other text (even copied text from another application), and then use ctrl-v to paste it into firefox portable, the text is doubled = inserted twice. When I try pasting into other applications, it only pastes it once. Any suggestions?

I just tried it right now and it worked fine for me. I can't imagine what would cause that from ffp. It would make me think it is just the user error or the keyboard is stuck.
Fer sure it doesn't happen anywhere else? Or that it's like that on other computers too?

it is weird. i have firefox portable installed on an external hd connected with usb. i tried it on my main computer but had been using it on two different laptops as well. same problem with every computer. thus, it can't be a problem with the keyboard. i just now copied the first sentence in this comment and pasted it in the subject field. after that i pasted it in word and it only appeared once. anybody?
If anything, it's probably an extension.

Thank you, John! It was the Hyperwords Add-On. I have contacted them to see if they have a fix. Meanwhile I will leave that disabled. GREAT!
