Can someone please clarify how I can copy my local settings to my U3 T-bird? There seems to be no way to access the directories of U3 programs, so I cannot simply copy & paste the profile folder contents. Thank you!

John, you take this one. I searched the forums, but the link you provided with the instructions in one of the threads is broken ("page not found"), and I can't find the instructions.

This has been asked numerous times. Please search the forums before you post a question.

@Bruce
Before you criticize, I -did- search the forums, and the thread with an answer had a dead link. I could have resurrected a dead thread with a dead link, but I felt that this would be more appropriate.
Replying to old threads is generally acceptable here (unlike other forums), and probably would have been preferred. In any case, I'm not criticizing you--I just wanted to make sure you searched the forums before you posted. You did, so no hard feelings.
I'm pretty accommodating, and I'd honestly have no problem answering your question if I knew anything about U3. I don't use it, so I wouldn't even know where to begin.

The same way you would copy over the profile folder in Firefox Portable.
The only thing is that U3 folders numbered rather than titled "Thunderbird".
I don't know the title of the Thunberbird folder, but you will fing it in the following directory -
X:\System\Apps
x=the drive that you can reach from the "Explore U3 Drive" on your U3 launchpad)
If John or anyone else can give the Folder Name that would be helpful.
