I have recently tried to make my signature longer, and found the only way on these forums is to use the Signature extension. Despite being able to make the textbox bigger, it cuts my sig down.
Is this a Drupal bug, feature or is it just this site?

It's at the Drupal defaults. And it's actually too long as it is. Anything more than a line or two is overkill in a forum and affects the readability of the site.
