FireFoxPortable leaves No PERSONAL data behind on the host machine.
We Never say/said it leaves Nothing.
It does leave traces that it has been run on the machine, this is part of how Windows behaves, none of our apps are Stealth. So if you don't want anyone to know that you even used FFP, this is not what you want. You might want to also be aware that not all Addons/extentions are fully portable and can/might leave traces behind, but FFP ships without Addons/extensions.

I don't think that someone is actually going to waste all their time trying to find some websites that you went to (unless they were illegal and/or inappropriate). I think that to the average person who uses a computer, they won't be able to find what site you search for.
We may be all skating around the real question. My company has strict rules about visiting sites, other than those necessary to do our work. They won't even allow us to go to online newspapers, or shop sites like Best Buy, Home Depot, etc, during our lunch time.
I believe the question being asked here is: "Can an IT department spy on, and detect what sites are visited, when the FP browser is used?"
Everything that goes over your network by any app at all is trackable by your IT department. The exception would be if you were using a proxy like Tor. But then they could tell you were using Tor and that'd probably get you fired, too.
