Taskbar Add On for the PortableApps window

Just a thought, I was looking at the main program that being the PortableApps platform taskbar window itself.
And I noticed that there was some unused space in the lower right area just under the search help buttons.

So I thought why not add a real time clock and weather widget to the task bar..
The clock would sync with the OS’s built in time, and the weather widget would show the present weather conditions for whatever area the user is in.

This would activate once the user is online, and could input there city name etc to get there online weather status and it would be retained in the programs settings.

The clock widget could be customizable also with a number of different digital and regular face clock widgets that have date and time perhaps even a built in day planner calendar or an auto PC shutdown timer via the PortableApps taskbar.

I think these features would be of use and simple to implement into the program.

The space is there, and it would make for a nice extra add on to a future release.

Why leave any empty space when you can make good use of it.

Just a thought, either way it’s a good program thanks from H.W

Clock?

I don't really like the idea of a clock, because in its default position, it'll be right above the default position for the clock already in Windows. Why put a second clock right above the first?

Weather widget is a good idea, though. Only thing is, some work/school accounts have problems with stuff like that, so it'd have to have proxy settings or the ability to leech Firefox's proxy settings.

But if there's gonna be a widget engine, it ought to have a few other choices, let the end user choose what goes there.
