First of all, please search before posting.
Go to FirefoxPortable\Other\Source and copy FirefoxPortable.ini into the FirefoxPortable directory, and open it and change "DisableSplashScreen=false" to DisableSplashScreen=true".

I tried this, and it didn't work for me.
You need to make a copy of the FirefoxPortable.ini into your main folder (aka where firefoxportable.exe is)
Making the copy to the firefoxportable.exe folder made it work for me. I didn't see that part in the original response.
