RealWorld Paint.COM 2009.1

Hello all,

I and my brother have released a new version of our freeware image editor. The new version was designed to be fully portable:
* it runs on Windows 2000, XP, Vista & 7
* no extra requirements; .net framework is NOT needed
* all settings (configuration, plug-ins, user icons, recent file list, language files) are saved locally
* when the drive letter changes, the recent file list will adjust paths for files on an USB stick

The most notable features of the editor:
* layers with effects (similar to Photoshop layer styles)
* sRGB optimized blending for extra smooth edges
* create custom filters in JavaScript
* compatible with Photoshop .8bf filter plug-ins
* draw with Vista-glass-like effect
* control the application with mouse gestures
* and more...

It can be downloaded from http://www.rw-designer.com/image-editor

I would be great if you could include in the portableapps.com collection.

Cheers,
Vlasta

You have to make it in

You have to make it in paf.exe (portable apps format) as an installer like every other app on this site and it could be distrubuted it its approved by the PA-MOD and has no bugs. Also, there already is an image editor thats portable. GIMP Portable.

Are you double posting? I

Are you double posting? I think you are. Anyway, no. It will not be included until freeware apps are accepted to the site. Which isn't now.

A second point, this would belong in the Beta Testing forum.

Too many bridges you can burn
Too many tables you can't turn
Don't wanna live my life in the real world

Remove it now, freeware apps coming soon

As OliverK has said, at the moment freeware apps are not allowed, and so this under the forum guidelines is self-promotional advertising, and not allowed because it's not open source. For the moment, then, this thread should really be deleted.

Soon, however, freeware apps will be permitted, and then you'll be able to publish it in a special forum for freeware app announcements.
