I just went to change my user picture for the forums, but it won't let me. When I go to submit the new settings on the Edit Account page, it errors out to tell me my email address is already registered. If I completely clear the email address field and try again, it tells me I have to enter a valid email address. Bit of a catch-22 here and I don't remember having this problem before...

I think the server can't delete the photo and replace it but I really don't know why that happens.
it doesn't seem to be directly related to the picture at all. It just won't let you submit the form at all without entering a valid email address that's different from the one that's currently registered.
Even if it's just a throwaway one on Yahoo, Hotmail/Live, or Gmail. Might not be the best solution, but if it works...
It's a bug. One that today's downtime should address.
