Microsoft Calculator Plus

Hi all

I had Microsoft Calculator Plus installed on my computer I copied the .exe file to a folder in my portable apps usb drive and it seems to be working? with no glitches

anyway I don't know the legal side of things but I thought I would mention it here incase anyone was interested ...

also would it be worth me asking for this to be made into a portable app?
or is there issues with using Microsoft's stuff???

I do believe its legal to

I do believe its legal to have it run off your flash drive.
I'm not sure if it leaves files behind on the computer you use it on.
I think that its illegal to redistribute the calculator (without the installer) since it doesn't look open source.
Pretty much everything made by Microsoft cannot be made portable because of copyright issues.

I still favor PCs over Macs ∞:1

Actually, the Win 7 calc only

Actually, the Win 7 calc only works on Win 7, 2008 Sever, and Vista. No XP support, I tried it.

Calculator

I use a program from Moffsoft which I think is much better then the standard Windows calculator. There is a free version and one which you have to pay for, but the free one suits all my needs. It can be run from my memory stick. I haven't checked if it leaves any data behind on the host computer, but I cant imagine why it should. Look at http://www.moffsoft.com/index.htm
