InfraRecorder 0.46.1 problem: burning stalls building image

OS: Win XP SP 3.
Whether burning files to a CD or image, IR starts by building an image.
During this step, while adding files to the image, it stalls.
No progress on the progress bar, it just hangs forever.
Can't burn anything at all.

I've redownloaded the most recent Infrarecorder Portable, and did a clean install, but no go.

Next, I went to the Infrarecorder site, and saw that the Release Notes for the next rev, 0.46.2, had the following statement:

Notes: * Fixed a bug causing the disc file system creation process to hang on some systems (for real this time). * Fixed a bug causing a custom temporary directory not to be used. * Fixed a start-up maximization bug.

So I went to WinPenPack and DL'd their "Portable" version (they have 0.46.2 already) and it worked fine.
Next I went to the PortableApps SF page and DL'd the previous version (0.45 rev2) and it worked fine.

What I think happened is that my system is one of those "some" referred to in the release notes, above.
So, for now, I've decided to use the downgrade (0.45 rev2) until this is resolved here.

Anyone else see this issue?

EDIT: I've gone to the WinPenPack version 0.46.2, and it also works fine. I hope the official one here gets updated so I can switch back to an official PortableApps one.

Yes, having similar problem

Yes, having similar problem with 0.46.1 - WinXP on two different machines: a dell laptop with SP2, and a home-made system with SP3. Hangs when trying to do any burning.

Bug

Yep- seems to be a bug. With less than 1GB free on my 'C' drive, the temp drive (X) was being ignored as the desired TEMP location leading it to crash. Downloaded new version and fixed the problem.
