Which category do you want to be nominated for, or does it not matter? My gut reaction is "Best Tool or Utility for Developers" but there are other options that could make more sense depending on how one uses this platform/toolset.

I nominated us for all, since we're obviously the best at everything Smile Honestly, it's whatever you feel is appropriate. Some folks are doing Best Tool or Utility for Developers. Some Best Project. It's really up to you.

Please post a question in the forum as I'm not sure what you mean offhand.

Hi,

Sorry, all I meant was I'd like to see an entry for "Developers" in the Applications Menu rather than developer type issues or applications coming up in the general list as it were, as I am a user and don't want to become confused.

Thanks

We'd have seconded if it were possible, but we put her there before realizing it had been deemed appropriate earlier, GOOD LUCK!!!

But I only nominated you for "Best way to change the way you do everything" or whatever it's called. Because that's true, portability really is the future. Netbooks and cheaper laptops are one way to get portability, but in these trying times, a flash drive is a lot cheaper, and if you can find a free USB port, you're in. And besides, I couldn't get online with a netbook where I sit, but I put in my flash drive, and had to configure Firefox to use work's proxy, and I'm in like Flint. Or, as I never tire of saying, I can reformat, reinstall Windows and just re-create the shortcuts, my apps stay configured. Talking about PortableApps sounds like an infomercial, too good to be true, only it is true, so everybody wins.

The other categories didn't really seem appropriate. Though PortableApps is my favorite, I'm sure SF hosts better projects, overall - though, none more useful to me. Oh, and I thought I could only do one, so I went with the most appropriate.

I hope you guys win something, PA.com can never get enough recognition.

Can you post where PA.com came in the results at the end of it? Also total number of votes for the different categories etc.
