Linux on Stick?

Why isnt there a portable Linux in your app db? I mean Linux is most suited for this job and there are already masses of way to bring it on stick.
do you intent to create some Linux section?
also a menu that runs native under Linux would be quiet good

There's not much need for

There's not much need for Linux apps. Most PApps work under Wine.
As for portable linux, you can search this website. I also found this:
http://www.damnsmalllinux.org/
Theres a lot of other sites too.

And welcome to PortableApps.com.

linux launcher

exists and you can use it for many different distros:
https://portableapps.com/node/13944

but you can also use portable ubunbtu (->google for it)

But I doubt that you will be happy with any of this solutions. This is allways sloooow and therefore of little practical use other then for fun and educational purposes.

There is a lot of need for it....

For one my never dependable windows crashed and I am in the middle of BFE, using a borrowed laptop. I would like to boot off my USB stick and watch the 2 weeks worth of avi's I downloaded instead. I'm looking for a way to do this......

but then

you need bootable linux stick, not linux runniing in any form of emulation like those versions running inside quemu.

I hate Linux - but I have it

Firstly, you don't need linux from here - no point because the programs all all for windows.

I really don't like Linux but I have a copy of Puppy Linux on all my computers & one of my USB sticks boots from another copy. I keep them for emergencies.

The easiest way to install it is to download this "unetbootin-windows-323.exe" then a copy of puppy Linux - it's only about 100 Mb for the ISO. Run unetbootin, follow the install prompts and you are all set.
