Does this extension impacts Portable FF as well?
If you use Firefox, you may be unaware that Microsft had added a FF extension without asking permission. This extension is part of the .NET update; it allows any Internet site to install S/W on your computer without asking.

I think, not only MS found out how to place strange things into the FF, also other companies found out. See other threads here.
Hope this will be corrected by Mozilla in future releases.
