probably too complex

things you are expecting here. Anyway, should it be one day technically possible to have such very big software made kind of portable, it will be definitely illegal. Autocad as we have it here in the office, needs license key based on hardware where it is installed, e.g. our company server and thus not movable from there.
And since here only open source software is allowed, it is not the right place to ask.

If you were happy with something simple and portable, search here the site for Cademia portable.

Sorry mate

But all three of these applications are closed source proprietary software. PortableApps.com only handles open source software or creates launchers for freeware applcations. It is legally possible to have someone create a launcher (I think) but due to the small target group of users (People who have purchased a legal license for the software and want it ported) this is very unlikely to occur. If you can find a suitable open source or freeware alternative and request it be ported there will be a much greater chance of someone doing it. As with Wildfire it comes down to legal issues and PortableApps.com is strictly legitimate.

Doing a quick search I came across this listing of free CAD software and these open source apps. I suggest you have a look at these or other alternatives, find one you like and try requesting that.

Hope that helps = )

Opening AutoCAD Files

It's correct that AutoCAD is commercial software.
There is a freeware program that was beta'd on this site some time ago. Its' name is Cademia.
You can search for the portable version (it may have been orphaned by now) or simply go to Cademia.org and download the available version (I think the latest is version 1.5).
I have used it and it works quite well for manipulating AutoCAD files.

Opening Autocad files

There is another program I came across the other day called Draftsight. It is made by dassualt Mirage. While not freeware, I copied the installation folder onto my harddrive and it seems to work ok from the portable hard drive. Also you need to register the software with their website.
