The proper name of the program is "Nvu"--note the difference in capitalization. Any reason why you call your version "NVU Portable", John?

So it is. I'll probably just leave it as Nvu will be going away anyway. The new version will probably be Mozilla Composer again. Nvu development seems to have been abandoned. There is a bug-fix release of it called Komposer, though. I'm debating doing a release of that.
Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
What fun. Which means if you make a portable version of Mozilla Composer, you'll have to call it Mozilla Composer - Portable Edition. But yeah, even for what limited testing I did of Nvu, I found that it crashed constantly. I dropped it pretty quickly, as you can imagine.
Off-Topic: Well, this is quite amusing. Firefox 2.0's spell checker doesn't recognize either "Mozilla" or "Firefox".

They're trying to change the dictionaries that they use for the spell checker. They're currently using some lame one (I forget what it's called) but they wanted to switch to Aspell but it doesn't fit with their license so they wanted Hunspell. But in the end, they all figured it's too late in the 2.0 cycle to change dictionaries.
Well in any case, I just went into about:config and disabled it. The little red squigglies annoy me, and nobody really needs spell check on the Internet, anyway. It's not like I'm going to write the great American novel in a forum post. If I make a typo or two, no big deal.

I'll commission you to write that great American novel
I am using SpellBound but can't remember what dictionary that uses.
Off-topic: SpellBound doesn't recognise SpellBound

First aren't we off topic talking about spell checker in Firefox.
Second Google toolbar for Firefox has a decent spell checker so I see no need for any in the Firefox package. Google even recognizes Mozilla and Firefox
You can see as it goes off topic, and skip past if you don't want to read.
