Hi elim, I have the same

Hi elim,
I have the same problem as you have.

I just update to FF portable v3.5 without other problems except this.
For someone to help, next is my experience about Adobe Shockwave Player plugin.

- I had never Adobe Shockwave Player installed in my system, only plugin "np32dsw.dll" v11.0.3.472 in "c:\FirefoxPortable\Data\plugins\" folder, and all worked good.
- When i update to FF portable v3.5,
* i download the latest version setup from http://get.adobe.com/shockwave/,
* install it (tracking it's installation with "Total uninstall"),
* copy/overwrite the plugin "np32dsw.dll" v11.5.0.600 to FF,
* and uninstall it (by it's uninstaller and by "Total uninstall")

Testing it in page: http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/welcome/
Adobe Shockwave Player plugin v11.5.0.600 is NOT working
although it appears as usual in about:plugins

So i copy/overwrite the OLD plugin "np32dsw.dll" v11.0.3.472 to FF and all working good again.

My system: Intel Duo 3.0GHz, 2GB RAM, WinXP pro Eng SP3

Thanks

i am sure that shockwave

i am sure that shockwave isn't installed on my local machine, but i make a second test to a clean installation of WinXP SP3 (multiboot - other partition) with FF portable running from my flash drive and shockwave is still working.

You may try to delete (quite FF before do this!)
- "compreg.dat" and "pluginreg.dat" files in profile folder
- All Prefetch files starting with "FIREFOX" in your "C:\WINDOWS\Prefetch\" folder.
and test again my plugin.

NOTE: All my plugins are in "FirefoxPortable\Data\plugins\" folder, except "npnul32.dll" that is in "FirefoxPortable\App\Firefox\plugins\" folder.

Adobe Flash Player plugin

Adobe Flash Player plugin requires NPSWF32.dll and flashplayer.xpt
Adobe Shockwave Player requires np32dsw.dll
Windows Media Player requires np-mswmp.dll

see "Mozilla Plugin Support on Microsoft Windows": http://plugindoc.mozdev.org/windows.html

just to make your life a little bit easier

I've uploaded a zip file containing the flowing plugins' dll files :

Acrobat Flash : flashplayer.xpt, npswf32.dll
Acrobat Shockwave : npnul32.dll
Windows Media Player : np-mpwmp.dll
Acrobat Reader : nppdf32.dll
jpg 2000 : npjp2.dll

just copy them to
\firefoxportable\data\plugins
directory and restart your browser.

you can download it here :

enjoy

similar problem with google earth plugin

Firefox thinks it's installed, but websites don't see it. I only tried putting it in the FirefoxPortable\Data\plugins folder. I didn't try it with the FirefoxPortable\App\Firefox\plugins\ folder. I shall put it there and see.
