Piriform started to offer a U3 version of CCleaner on their website (Click)
But their not offering any version for PortableApps.com (.paf)...
Obviously we can use any portable app with the PortableApps menu quite easily. (We can rename and remove icons to fix any mess we get to(redundant icons)).
But having a .paf format app is nicer.
...Jerks.
Did you send them an email to suggest they make a portableapps version?
I've done that with a few apps, even a commercial app or two.
UltraEdit is one, they also started with only U3 support but eventually added a portableapps version.

I'm aware of two email requests for it, both were denied. Don't get your hopes up.

Isn't U3 a dead format now? Or is it still being offered on flash drives?
Wiki doesn't say it is, but it seems real shady. Portable app launcher combined with virtual CD drive mounter? And it can't be installed on just any flash drive?
PA.c has an article on Wikipedia and the U3 article now points to it, with a note that PA.c's menu is free, open source, and works on all flash drives.
U3 is dead and they used to wait forever to update their apps
and their portable firefox is version 2.0.0.4
their openoffice.org is 2.2.0
pa is much better and it is not tied to a device
U3 devices are still being sold. And are still able to be secured.
