Could you please stop announcing updates to apps.
It is considered bad form as it comes across as a Gimme/Nag post, even if you don't mean it that way.
Most of the devs here know of the update of the host apps before the public does.

Thanks for understanding,

Things have got to get better, they can't get worse, or can they?
I do apologize. It is not meant as a Gimme or Nag post. I was simply trying to help. I do not mean it as a Gimme or Nag post because I create and update my own PortableApps, well before PortableApps.com releases them. No offense intended, just a statement of understanding.
And please understand, in the future these posts may be deleted.

edit:for some strange reason, I misread "I do apologize" as "I do not apologize", it was late and I must have been very tired. Again, thanks for your understanding, Tim

Tim, I don't think these have to be deleted. And I do think mods need to tone down the response to these types of posts, especially if they mean to be helpful. But yes, we do know when an app is updated, we just don't rush releases out just to be first with an app like some other sites do (usually without any testing or posting the source as required).
Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
I was at the library the other day and tried to use bonk but it said ( i think ) no aspci support
However, i was able to use wmp to rip a cd just fine (as fine as that is, anyway)
I swear I had used it successfully once before.
Am i doing something wrong or what?
thanks
