First; This is great, I love my new PortableApps. I came from U3, unfortunately I figured out that they were going out only after I had made some software I was hoping to sell (shame on me for not keeping up).
I have installed and been using my PortableApps for about 3 days now. I wanted to suggest that a lot of the app descriptions should be updated with some of the more general information related to the functioning as a whole for instance; the Firefox app page should say if we could get extensions or updates if these things can not be done maybe it would be best to put up note so that someone with experience can know to work on that if it is something they need. Another example would be the PortableApps.com Installer I am almost afraid to try it (I might be exaggerating).
Really the main thing I wanted to say is that the model of U3 didn't work as a business or they would have stuck with it, but if you are already offering everything you have for free why not offer people like me that have software we would like to sell the ability to sell them here as part of your line-up. If you current business model is already working then couldn't the addition of sales from other developers only be a good thing?
I don't think very many people would want what I have to offer because it is too highly specialized but if I can not send it to U3 maybe here would be better....

We're already doing that and are working with vendors that will be announcing products soon. You can drop an email to the business development contact on our contact page for the complete details. You'll be packaging apps in PortableApps.com Format which is very easy to work with and configured using simple INI files. Plus it works on all flash drives, not just drives from one manufacturer.
You'll find our app descriptions are already far more complete and detailed than any at U3's old site. Plus we have detailed screenshots and links back to the main projects if you need more information. You can use nearly all extensions with Firefox Portable you'd like (it's compatible with more extensions than Firefox for U3, in fact).
Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
