Just made this empty ThinApp. What it does is, it will virtually start 'cmd.exe' from the host (So 'cmd.exe' isn`t actually included in the ThinApp). What the great thing is, it is possible to even install a program in to the virtual environment. This could be run from the flash-drive. What I done this weekend is to start 'Desktops' in the virtual environment, with this I could switch between the real localhost and the virtual environments located on my USB-stick, by a single click. After redirecting some of the special folders which ThinApp doesn`t, even the desktop it self, as well as the start menu and even the system-tray were working totally separated of the localhost! This works brilliant, I could install an application, after run the same Virtual desktop on another computer and I could run the application from there, this inclusive the new file extension, shortcuts, etc.!
Just I hope anyone could tell me if it would be legal and allowed to publish a test release of this tiny app as a launcher for Microsoft's 'Desktops', on this site.
I could hopefully develop the launcher some more with the feed-back of this forum!

ThinApp is usually pirated itself and not only that not compatible with other licenses including the GPL so sorry mate you can't post it here

This isn't 'ThinApp' it self, this is an (empty)thinstalled application. What do you mean by 'other licenses including GPL'. Do I need a license for distributing thinstalled legal content.

no usually any thinapp program are illegal and any stuff made by that copy of thinapp are illegal, now stuff made by thinapp include a license where you can't distribute said "Thinstalled app" and that license violates the GPL License too, which is why you will not see thinapp stuff here.
