If you try the search button above right, you'll find out more about why it isn't here yet. BUT..., from what I understand of it, encryption isn't considered safe except at a hardware level (Ironkey Flashdrive). Software encryption might/can be decrypted and programs like TrueCrypt requires administrative privileges. Also, a driver is required, which may or may not be present on the computer that you may be using. This only touches on the discussion, but it's what I've learned about it. I've seen OFTE mentioned before, but I can't speak of it, because I haven't used it. Maybe someone else has.

Where on Earth did you get that idea from ??
(on the other hand : Your signature is quite telling )
But I thought that the password could be hacked by someone with the knowledge and the will or the data in a volume could be accessed with the appropriate knowledge as well. I thought that hardware like Iron key was the only way to prevent this.

I'm not an expert, never claimed to be. I was just relaying info that I had seen elsewhere.
Some devices are using hardware encryption, but that doesn't mean they are more secure.

While its problematic I created for my personal use a special launcher that has an encrypted version of an app and unencrypted and uses when admin privileges are available the truecrypt encrypted one which includes the app with user settings (in my case ftp)
Still not perfect but workable. I liked the 'trusted' PC's functionality function of another portable menu (Smithtech) and hope John will implement something similar. Also I sort of hope that PA will add some Admin privileges or truecrypt availability awareness...
Admin privileges aren't something that can be "added to the menu". They are a fundamental attribute of the user credentials that you are operating as. i.e. when you log into the PC, the user that you log in as either has admin rights, or does not have admin rights. Simple as that.
The only way to "add" them later, is to use runas to temporarily become some other user, for which you know the password, who does have the needed rights.
I ment have the menu be aware if Admin privileges are available and start the correct app (ie normal or encrypted) accordingly.
