I did search before posting, but was very confused with what I read.
I found this topic ( https://portableapps.com/node/1936#comment-8573 ) and am not sure what was being said there (I'm pretty sure it's not all english)
If this is still allowed, I'd like to request a portable seamonkey (english) be made. It's my browser of choice and I prefer it over firefox.
I don't see what's so hard to understand. John Haller had this to say on the subject:
"No, it isn't portable. It's very different. Making it portable would be a bit difficult due to its current config setups." Seems clear as day to me.

Reason that was unclear, is that the topic is for Mozilla 1.7, Seamonkey is not based of mozilla 1.7 but off firefox.
Seamonkey is based on the Mozilla Suite.
Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
It is based on Firefox, please read up on it. They've stated this before. It does however maintain compatability with Mozilla Suite extensions.
It's based off the Mozilla Suite.
Where does it say it's based off Firefox? Also, they might mean it's the Mozilla suite with the changes in Firefox integrated.

"While much of the core code is shared with the popular Firefox 1.5 browser, SeaMonkey comes with the the look and feel familiar to users of its ancestors, the Mozilla Application Suite and Netscape Communicator packages."
That mean that they basically took the Mozilla source and updated the browser component with Firefox's source.

At ocepj (http://www.office-center-epj.de/portable_usb_drive.htm) you'll find a german version of Seamonkey portable. You have to install as usual (with the seamonkey.bat), after that you'll have to choose a new profile for/on your stick. Set it as default and you can carry Seamonkey with you.

Do they have any plans to localize it?
You can get language packs like Nepali or Catalan (also English) here:

But it's not "fully" portable! It keeps writing that "Mozilla" folder in Documents and Settings/User after each start, even when you start it via the batch file!! So I wonder why it's called portable at all, as that is the usual behaviour of any Mozilla product. You could run any copy from a different installation of Mozilla/Firefox on any computer without installing it. I just got it to play around with.
Gotta add: just found out that it even writes the "Cache" in the "Application" data folder on the HDD! So I really don't see that it behaves any different from a full, normal installation. Maybe I'm missing something.
it's supposed to let you bring your PROFILE anywhere; not the app it's self.
