PortableApps Menu Themes and installing?

Hello, i am running portableapps menu 2.0 beta 1 and i have recently downloaded a bunch of themes in .patheme format, i can use the themes by selecting them with the browse for theme option but i would like to know how i can install them, I.E add them to the list off themes for quick switching later, i can not seem to find a way to do this anywhere.

Thanks Smile

Can't

You can't, at least not at this point. Nor can you remove preinstalled themes that you do not like. The list of themes is hard-coded into the menu.

yes, you can...

But...
No install required, of course you could go into the portableapps.com/app/defaultdata/themes folder and replace rename an existing theme, but they would be deleted or replaced on upgrading the menu. If you want all your themes with you, just put them onto your drive, eg into the documents directory. The menu will sort of cache your selected theme alike the personal picture and there won´t be any path error, so you don´t have to mess up the pa.com folder anyway....;)And remember, this is a first theme switch test...

Yeah, this is the weakest

Yeah, this is the weakest part of the the new theme switcher; it assumes that everyone will automatically prefer the built-in color themes (which, although nice and cleanly made, are not very exciting).
Hopefully, in the next release, there will be something like an MRU instead: The list would show the last 5 or six themes selected, so you could add custom themes to the list, but your faves would be easily accessible.
It can still start off with the color themes as the initial list.

I made this half-pony, half-monkey monster to please you.

You´re right

seems that the workaround for 1.6 doesn´t work any more. But since you have one favourite, what´s the point? Just select it with "..." and keep off the app folder..
This is a simple theme switch test in a Beta release and no advanced thing (no custom buttons, wallpaper switch with the theme etc, etc..

Don't

Don't do this. It will be overwritten when you upgrade. And will cause problems with the menu itself.

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
