I'm interested in learning how to code HTML files, but am unsure of a good application for this. I've downloaded Note Tab and Notepad++ can either of these be used for this pupose?
Thanks
Scott

Any text editor can be used for HTML.
Notepad++ does a great job with syntax highlighting.
No experience with Note Tab.

Thanks Zach,
I never realized that. I tried using Abiword for this and it seems to do the job ok without but still few probs. but need to post in different forum I suppose.
My aim was to reduce the size of documents and be able to use what are called bookmarks in adobe to locate chapters in ebooks etc. But I converted two .doc's and the result was good. The size in HTML format is around a quarter of the original and Abiword created a table of contents automatically for one of them. How this worked is my problem stated above for another forum.
But one ebook I tried converting this way actually increased in size by approx 4 times, do you know why that is?
I know this is probably not the right place to ask this stuff but I don't have a clue where to start for help with these things.
Thanks
Scott

I'd love to see the Hex editor plug in included in the package. Thanks -scott (different scott from the original poster)
