Dialog reports error opening file but file opens anyway

I use Firefox Portable as my default browser on my hard drive. Works fine for everything except MSNBC videos, which I can live without.

Often, though not always, when I trigger a link in some other application, I will get a dialog box which reads like this:

Error opening file.
File not found.
http://localhost:85/admin/myjsas.php

This one was triggered by clicking for the info page on MyJSAS server. Other things, like links in my email or in a document cause similar dialog boxes. They go away when I click OK.

The link does open, even before I click OK. But ... is there something I have set up wrong?

Not supported

Using Firefox as a default browser is not currently supported. Be sure you have FirefoxPortable.exe set as the default (not firefox.exe). Windows Media in general has issues with Firefox, which may complicate things. That's about all I can offer.

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!

Default

Try this:
DefaultMyFFP (or DMFFP between friends) version 1.0:

Tell me if it works.
