I am not able to install the cooliris extension on my portable firefox from www.cooliris.com. However, there are no problems when installing it on my regular firefox 1.5.0.6. Any suggestions?

Most likely, it's doing something with local paths within itself or in the Firefox prefs. Since it's a closed source extension, there's not much we can help you with.

I tried it (great idea btw) turned off the prefetch websites caus I want to prolong the life of my USB drive, but it's working fine on my drive (Cruzer titanium) and the latest portable firefox.
You might want to email the author and see if they can do anything for you, I've done this before with extensions to great success.

I emailed the author on a different issue, and they replied within minutes which was pretty impressive.
No problems for me either.

Thanks for the replies. I did email the author and they got back to me pretty fast. However, the issue resolved itself when I used portable firefox on another machine. There was no problem installing cooliris to portable firefox when I used it on another computer
