Hi,
I need to set password to open thunderbird.
If some one is trying to open than it should ask for password.
Where is this option available ?

It's not, as far as I know. I'd like to be able to do that as well.

The only password option I know of is the master password, but that only works when you connect to your mail servers - not when you open Thunderbird.

ProfilePassword sort of does the trick. not very secure but at least it will keep a casual looker out of your mails.
Its what i do anyway, combined with master password for the server list.
