More Portable Apps

Hi,

I'm an software author from Rizone Technologies and is in the process of developing many portable applications. All fully portable and all freeware. However, I need people that can test these tools for me and give some feedback. Or if you really don't have time, download them and use them.

Please visit my site at http://www.rizonetech.com/

You can Email me with feedback or just reply to this post. I'm here to help and assist. If you have any suggestions for new tools, don't hesitate to ask and if you find bugs, please tell me all about it.

After a quick browse of your

After a quick browse of your site, it appears your applications are what is called "natively portable" in that they aren't tied to the host computer by design. However, they do not appear to be in the PortableApps.com Format. If you take a look at the forum guidelines, John recently updated them to say that if you want to self-promote in the forums your apps must be in PAF. You can take a look at the PAF specifications here

Well...

The programs he creates are not in the PortableApps.com Format. The author does portray an interest in having his applications posted here on PA.c so why not create installers for his apps? They would simply download the archives and extract them to the appropriate directory and a Launcher would be created. It would work just like the other freeware applications in the repository.

well, I downloaded Inoculate

well, I downloaded Inoculate and tried it on my XP (I have win2000, but your programs don't work on that OS). It's a new XP install so there isn't anything on it.

It did say

"Backing up and compressing your Hosts file, Please Wait...
Hosts backup could not be compressed.
Hosts Backup: H:\PortableApps\Inoculate\Backup\Hosts-2009-09-02-13-16-51.hb
Creating new Microsoft Windows XP HOSTS file, Please Wait...
Microsoft Windows XP HOSTS file created.
Windows is now inoculated against 14544 parasites.
Rizone's Inoculate closed by Exit function."

on that log file.

but there is no "Hosts-2009-09-02-13-16-51.hb" file. I looked
