JDarkRoom uses Java and since Portableapps offers the Jave Portable, I thought it can be portable, too.
Thanks,

It's very easy to make Notepad++ do what DarkRoom does. Simply disable all the crap on the left, and under plugins, turn off the silly little edit tracker. Then, change the style to neon green on black, set the font as you like (I favor Courier New), and hit F11 and F12 (in either order). You're now using DarkRoom, more or less.
Glad somebody else has heard of this project. I have DarkRoom at home; it was featured in Maximum PC (as was PortableApps.com). I enjoyed it for a while, but it's just that little gimmick, little more. Notepad++ can do the gimmick just the same, and so much more, does not require Java, and it's already available right here.
That's great!! I will try it on the Notepad++. Thanks soooo much!
