This might have been answered elsewhere, but I couldn't find an answer.
If portable apps keeps all information on the portable drive then why do documents that I open in Open Office Writer appear in the recent documents section when I hit "start" and "documents?"
Is it supposed to leave this info on the computer I'm using?
It depends entirely on how you're starting it. If you run OO.oP and select the file from inside it, I don't think it happens, but if you open it externally it will happen. If I'm wrong on the former count (can't remember exactly), there's nothing we can really do about it.

If you have something associated and bring it up in Explorer or via Windows Open command from another app, it will show up. A later version of the Platform will allow you to keep your stuff out of this list.

And when will this later version come?
Considering all the new features that have been implemented so far, I can't wait to see what's next!
