Delete the folder. It really is that simple. Even though apps from this site are unpacked using an installer, nothing is written outside the AppNamePortable folder under the PortableApps folder in the root of the drive, where AppName is the name of the app. Oh, and if the PortableApps.com Platform menu is running, go to Options and click Refresh App Icons just to get it off the menu in a hurry. Or exit and restart the menu, either way.
Thats because the menu keeps all the Icons in a list (even if you delete the corresponding folder) util you either restart the menu or refresh the icon list by clicking Options-refresh Icons.

Click on Options in the menu and choose Uninstall App. As was said before, all this does is delete the folder containing the app, but it also refreshes the app list when it's done.

This is only for the 2.0 version of the menu. On 1.5.2 you'll have to delete the folder and refresh the icons manually.

My menu has several entries for apps for which there is no corresponding folder.
