I would suggest using a shorter Friendly Cache name, ie instead of:

"PortableOpenOffice Launcher runs OpenOffice from a removable drive",
only
"PortableOpenOffice"

I modified it manually, but I think it would be better that the default one is shorter.

Best regards,
Mguel

on the launcher?

you mean the explanation on the launcher? Yeah, I'll be changing these over time.

I mean: in windows, when I

I mean: in windows, when I choose "Open with" and I select ie PortableNVU, then, PortableNVU is added to the "Open with" list on the context menu of ie html files. Well, in this list of "open with" options/programs, PortableNVU is listed as:

"PortableNVU Launcher runs NVU from a removable drive".

This can be changed by modifying it's "Friendly Cache" name in the registry.

Cheers,
Mguel

Ah

Ah, I hadn't thought of people setting them in Windows to open files with. It's actually from the FileDescription variable within the EXE. I'll do something shorter for the next releases on everything.
