I've been looking for an add on that will prevent the Master Password prompt from coming up and have had no luck. Is there a setting to keep this from appearing? I have eBay customers using Pay Pal on my computer to pay for items they pick up and figured that "Private Browsing" would be faster than closing my FF and starting up a guest profile or using the IE Tab, but they have to cancel the Master Password prompt multiple times. Any Ideas?
tools->options->security. you'll see a check box to disable the master password. try that.
Yeah, the checkbox is there, but it looks like it already came with a password defined. When I try to disable it, FF asks for the "master pass" I didn't set.
Does anybody else have this problem???
Cheersh!

It does work to get rid of it semi-permanently, but I'm hoping for an add on or option so you can hit "cancel" and it will not bother you for the rest of the session. It would be nice not to be prompted at all during "Private Browsing" but then be prompted for it after you finish private browsing.

I think it might get around the master password but I haven't tested it.
I'm joyjumping as it did right here!
As I didn't have any passwords in my pass box I just pasted this code into the address bar "chrome://pippki/content/resetpassword.xul" and resetted the master password.
If this is the problem for anyone else, doing this solves it, but if you have passwords saved under the master pass, then you have another problem.
Hope to be helpful
