Theming PAP 2.0 Beta - Tutorial

Hi guys,
I noticed there are still some problems with the new patheme-file format. So I made a small tutorial about installing and creating themes for PAP 2.0 beta. It can be found here:
Tutorials

(It's still in german yet. If somebody wants to help me translating it to common english I could send a rough-and-ready version).

Have a nice day,
MrElchbau

----edit----
Now it's available in english, too.
But terribly. I better had to ask Yoda for a translation.

Pretty cool...

Hi MrElchbau,

Thanks for this, I this may help me decide whether I will ever make a theme of my own...:?

As for translations, I'm no linguist, well, not good enough...
Me being lazy (and unable to read german) I use the Bing Translator to view your tutorial in English.

Just type the URL into the translate box, and specify a language, and click translate.

It seems to translate pretty well and I can only see a few little things that it missed, and some slight sntax (right word?) issues... Smile

Overall it is a start for the translation.

p.s. Is page/part 3 missing? it is not an active link...

EDIT: Google Translator seems to do well also, niether one gets it all right though, maybe a mix of both...

Thanks a lot

Thanks, a good hint to make a translated page til somebody will make it better.
I will start immediately (or after lunch and some beer).

ps: I reserved a third page for all that stuff I've forgotten to insert or maybe a detailed 2nd theme.

No Problem...

Let us know when it is up, will take a look at it Smile
It is a bit hit and miss with the translators sometimes, but I'm sure it wont be too hard to work out the general meanings...

Vielen Dank, MrElchbau!

I'll take a stab at translating tonight. I'm a native English speaker, but I know enough German to translate, and I'm not a bad writer.

I've got a pretty nice theme I've created; after I run it through the tutorials to catch anything I missed, do we have thread for posting 2.0 themes?

I made this half-pony, half-monkey monster to please you.
