HI
I need to use MIranda 0.5 from CDRW therfore I wanted to downlad the MirandaPortable.ini file from the location https://portableapps.com/downloads/app_extras/miranda_portable/live/Mira.... To my astonishment I got the Page Not Found Error :/.
Whats wrong? Am I doing anything wrong?

You're not doing anything rong, JUra, the file just isn't there at the moment (it appears). Haven't downloaded the program, but based on the standard package structure, there should be an ini file in the Other\MirandaIMSource folder where you unpacked the MirandaPortable files. Just read the readme.txt file in the same folder, and modify the ini until it suits you needs.

The trouble is that I dont know how to modificate the *.ini file to have the Miranda working. :/
Whatever I did, after recording the IM to a CD, I received info : "Miranda cannot run from read only location"

The file was missing from that location. I've put it there, so download away and enjoy your Live CD of it.
