I don't know if this was requested before, and if it was, I apologize.
There are no Online Radio Players here, that I could find. I know there are several free, portable radio players out there, available to download, and run of the USB drives. I use two, both portable, free, etc..
- "Screamer Radio" - http://www.screamer-radio.com/
- "RadioSure" - http://www.radiosure.com/
I know there is a guideline for what qualifies to be here as portable app.
Maybe someone can dig a little into this direction. I'm sure there are several other players out there not mentioned here, and also free and built portable.
I'm sure some would qualify.
Keep up the great work. Thank you.
Try searching for Screamer Radio.
And welcome to portable apps.

Yes, I listed Screamer Radio in my original post.
I think he meant for you to search PortableApps.com using the search at the top of the page.

Once you go portable...
VLC Player is more of a universal video player, capable to do a lot more. I was thinking more in online radio player that is just that, like Screamer Radio or RadioSure. I'm fine with both as is.
Screamer Radio does not appears to be supported any more, and it is still buggy.
Radio Sure is supported, it is nice, but lacks buffering feature from Screamer...
Anyone have suggestion for more online radio players? I'm in hunt for "perfect" one. I know... It is utopia.

What do you mean, not supported? I've been using it for over a year. Its NOT buggy.
Screamer is my utopia of online radio player.

There are problems with Screamer Radio. If you change the station, and the new one is not available, the interface often lose some of menu. It also tend to leave itself running as process, even after you close the program.
And it is not supported. Last release was in September of last year, and there was not a single entry since, other than forum. I love it, and I used it for couple of years, but it is not developing at all. It has been 2-3 years, and it is only version 0.4.3. I guess the reason for this is that the guy who works on it, is a student who have better things to do with his free time, and he is the only one involved.
I recently found SureRadio, and it is developing, it is skinnable, but lacks buffering. Something Screamer radio have, and it is very helpful when you record a song that is already started, meaning you can mis the begining of the song, and still record the whole thing. I whish SureRadio will come up with that too, or the Screamer have a fresh start.
This isn't directly meant towards you, but towards just about everyone I've met who seems to think that just because development on app has stopped means its trash.
Since when?

Development is not the only issue. Read my post...
As I said, it is also buggy, and as I said, I still use it.
But my original post is about making the Screamer Radio official PA package, or if this app is not compliant, then to find another one that is.
Also, I have VLC Player and MPlayer, but as I also mentioned, both are leaning to video processing, as primary function, rather tham true radio streemer.
Yes then can play shoutcast, but I was talking about online radio streemer that streems real radio stations.
I heavily use Screamer Radio and RadioSure. Both are portable, and I'm happy with it. I was just wondering if it can be official PA package, and be added here.
There's a development test package in the forums for Screamer. I wish it would be added, and maybe when we see the freeware roll out I'll update and submit it. I read the license and it(the license for screamer) said I could redistribute it

Radio?Sure! in its "portable" version works just fine for me.
I don't really see a reason for John or any other to waste time on
a non-open source "freeware" software which happens to works allright...

A dedicated internet radio app that comes in a portable format is TapinRadio. It has a huge selection of stations and extremely easy to use.
The portable version can be found at http://www.tapinradio.com/downloads/tapinradio_portable_setup.exe
RadioSure has gone crippleware with 2.2, TapinRadio has gone adware with 1.51.
